A 50's DANCE
to benefit THE MEGAN HAYWARD FUND
The 50's Dance which was held at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on Saturday February 13, 1999 was an overwhelming success. Close to 1,000 friends of Megan attended this event. There were literally hundreds of sponsors and volunteers who helped to make this event such a success. A heart-felt "Thanks" goes out to all of them, as well as all of the people who attended. If you were there, you know that a fun time was had by all. Little children and grandparents alike "twisted" their way on the dance floor, some even exhibiting their dance skills with a hoola hoop. There was probably not a "dry eye" in the house as we all listened to Mark’s taped message from the hospital, telling us how grateful the family was, and how our efforts were helping Megan and her family. All in all, it was a fun evening helping to support a family in need. Financially, this dance raised over $50,000.00 in support of The Megan Hayward Fund!!!!!
