A multi-level restaurant serving American cuisine. I ate in the balcony overlooking the restaurant and bar. The seafood was well prepared and the wine list was good. I've been looking forward to a return visit.

My favorite! Absolutely my favorite! You haven't lived until you visit this establishment! Great food, nightly traditional Gaelic entertainment. You can go to the White House, The Washington Monument, but you haven't been to DC until you visit the Dubliner. The place to be!!! There are memories I could tell you about this place, but it's best that you create your own memories. There is something to be said about memories created while in an Irish Pub!

Excellent seafood. Also, very close to the headquarters of the US SBA, so it's a convenient place to eat if you're "entrepreneurial" in spirit.

Excellent Italian cuisine at reasonable rates! I keep coming back here every time I'm in DC and it keeps getting better. I usually try to get here a few times a year. The hostess always remembers me, and always finds a nice private table for me. And at the end of an excellent meal, she always sends me over a few divine glasses of port.

Some friends took me to dinner here once. The food is unlike anything you have ever tasted. They have a way to prepare foods that brings out a unique and different flavor from what you would expect. They have multiple dining venues in this complex, and the experience is one you won't soon forget.

The saga continues! While on another one of my frequent business trips to DC in May 2004, I decided it was time to visit the DC versions of Ruth's Chris. I had a client and some of his friends in town for a conference and we trekked out to one of the 4 Ruth's Chris' in the local area. My client's friends had never been to a Ruth's Chris' before, so, this was an experience for them. I had my usual petite filet with Australian lobster tail, my client had his normal steak, and our guests experimented. Needless to say, the selection of Chardonnay's and Merlots only enhanced our dinner selections. Our hostesses (Jackie and Rachel), our server (Manfredo) and the Manager (Maurice) were very gracious as I informed them of my “Ruth's Chris” quest to visit all of the Ruth's Chris restaurants. Needless to say, once again,......everyone I brought to Ruth's Chris' were totally overwhelmed by the quality of the food, wine and service. Another location to cross off my list,.....another fine dinner which I have shared with friends!

OK! So there are 4 Ruth's Chris' in the DC area, so on my last night in DC during my May 2004 work session I decided to visit another location. This time, I was bringing one of my business associates whom I had introduced to Ruth's Chris' out at the Denver location in the Fall of 2003. It was a Friday night, and we were surprised to be able to get seated on such short notice (maybe word is going around that I am a fan). Although I debated about the lamb, I repeated my meal from earlier in the week and ordered the petite filet with Australian lobster tail. My associate had the petite filet. We accompanied our meal with an excellent Stag's Leap Merlot. Our waitress (Tina) was gracious and efficient, and enjoyed my stories about all of the other Ruth's Chris' I had visited. She introduced us to the Manager (Aaron), and we all had a wonderful chat. Aaron was nice enough to bring us over some gifts,....a Ruth's Chris coffee mug and a Ruth's Chris CD.

You know, I've been to 6 different Ruth's Chris' in 4 different states,.....some of which I have returned to numerous times. Despite the location, or the staff,....I have always received the best of service and have met the friendliest of staff members. Oh, yeah,...the food and wine has always been the best as well, regardless which location I have visited. The DC 9'th St location takes the cake though,....I got the coffee mug! Each morning's commute to work will just make my mouth water for more of what I have come to expect from Ruth's Chris'. (Thanks Aaron & Tina). So, I'll be back to DC in June,.....do I go back to one of the 2 locations I've tried? Or, try to visit the remaining 2 locations in the DC area? And,...I've a meeting in New Orleans in August,.....where of all places there is another Ruth's Chris. Needless to say, if you have the opportunity to visit a Ruth's Chris, tell them that Mark said “Hi”. They might not understand,...but, you'll sure have one phenomenal dining experience. Trust me!
