My first stint in Vegas. This hotel has great conference facilities, and there are many places to dine on the property. Also, the home to "Star Trek The Experience" (a museum, ride, restaurant and store). Needless to say, the hotel does have a full floor of casinos.

A wonderful hotel where you never need to go outside to be outside. The ceiling sky motif, and the quaint village style of all of the shops makes you feel like you are always walking the streets of some French village. This hotel is connected to Bally's hotel as well, so, you get the best of two of Las Vegas' hotels in one. The bar just past reception is an excellent place to meet with friends, or, just watch the action on the gaming floor. Some of the excellent restaurants I have experienced in this hotel are:

Le Provencal

French-Italian Cuisine

Les Artistes
Steakhouse and Rotisserie

Excellent surf and turf: I never knew that Australian lobster tails were that large!!!

Was dying to get here, finally did, now I'm dying to return. This was my first ever experience of this restaurant. Now, I look for Ruth's Chris' everywhere!

I'm in Vegas at least once a year for a conference. Once I step off the plane I call one of the 2 Ruth's Chris' locations for reservations. We pick up our room passes at the airport (one of the great things that they do in Vegas), pick up our rental car, and drive to the restaurant. While flying across the country, my mouth just waters thinking about the petite filet mignons, or, the lobster tails,......and that wonderful wine list. This is a "not to miss" restaurant in whatever city you are visiting.

The evening I was here in 2003, the staff went out of their way to make us feel like we were royalty! We had a private glass-enclosed dining room overlooking the kitchen. Our dinner party of 12 had never experienced such quality treatment. The wine list was as large as a dictionary (nothing bad about that), and the food (meat or seafood) was excellently prepared. The final coup de grace was a few rounds of quality port which the staff provided to us compliments of the house. My industry rep just couldn't figure out who I knew at the restaurant to merit such treatment when I made the reservations,....but, as I told him,...this is what they always do. (Rene,....always let me make the reservations!!).

An excellent adventure. You can pick from a variety of tours and excursions. I took my client on a pic-nic lunch to the base of the Grand Canyon in July 2002: the base temperature was 127 degrees (F). It was a lunch that my client will never forget. The flight over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the canyon range was just spectacular! Returning to Vegas as the sun was setting was a photo op that no one should miss.
